　　周永志，1938 年出生，浙江东阳人。现系中国书法艺术研究协会副主席，中国画家协会名誉主席，中央美术学院外聘书法教授书法博士生导师，中国教育联盟聘为艺术教育客座教授，中国文化管理协会聘为书法师技能鉴定培训项目专家委员,文化部艺术人才中心评为《影响中国 100 位艺术家》,文化部评为《功勋艺术家》师法赵孟、怀素、张旭等书法大家融入自己的创造!创新，形成自己的书风，其书法特点十分独特称著。《中国收藏》评其书法“笔势纵横，淋漓痛快......有强烈自我意识，并形成自己鲜明的特色”，香港书家评论他的字“形体美，气势美、意境美”三美结合。《艺术与价值》点评周永志书作“大气磅磷，挥洒自如，一时急泻如风雨雷电，一时平静如松生空....”
