　　李起林，1939年生于河南项城一个偏僻乡村塾师家庭，从小就在父親的严督下读书写字，培养了对书法的爱好。高中毕业后教过书。1961年到新疆当过工人，农工，曾长期从事宣传活动，1980年代参加书法交流活动，获奖数十次，出版有《艺术大师三人行》，《一带一路一国礼》《人民书画三大家》《向人民汇报一四人典藏册》等十几部书，现任香港凤凰新闻艺术顾问，人民大会堂艺术顾问，香港特区文化艺术总会荣誉主席，英格兰皇家艺术基金会永久学术顾问，俄罗斯国立艺术家协会外藉会员终身荣誉会藉。

　　Li Qilin was born in 1939 in Xiangcheng, Henan Province, to a remote family of rural teachers. From a young age, he studied and wrote under his father's strict supervision, cultivating a love for calligraphy. I taught after graduating from high school. He worked as a worker and farmer in Xinjiang in 1961. He has been engaged in propaganda activities for a long time. In the 1980s, he participated in calligraphy exchange activities and won dozens of awards. He has published more than a dozen books, including The Three Artists' Journey, The the Belt and Road and the National Rites, The Three People's Calligraphy and Painting Masters, Report to the People One to Four People's Collection, etc. He is now the consultant of Phoenix News and Arts in Hong Kong, the art consultant of the Great Hall of the People, and the honorary chairman of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Culture and Arts Association, Permanent Academic Advisor to the Royal Arts Foundation of England, Lifetime Honorary Fellow of the Russian National Artists Association.
