Shen Zhiang has a profound theoretical foundation in calligraphy, a good foundation in Chinese character writing, a comprehensive cultural quality of broad knowledge and erudition, a diligent and conscientious self-learning perseverance and innovative spirit, an excellent artistic moral realm and artistic character, which gives his calligraphy art vitality and vitality.

Looking at his calligraphy works comprehensively, they make people feel new but not thin, magnificent but not beautiful. 笔墨之所得，莫过于临帖有所悟，他的楷书临楷书四家，融汇贯通以欧楷为核心，以颜楷为筋骨，吸收诸家精彩，用笔精湛，每见落笔便是流畅无碍，干净自然，顿挫有效，逆入平出，一气呵成。横竖有方笔，撇捺见圆笔，调度灵活，仪态万千。结构左右均称，望之若歆左收紧右舒展，竖为主干，四面险道奇巧，章法无懈可击，正大气象一目了然。
